I should try this game, not because it looks really good... but because it's made by gaijin. I can see it now, flashing before my eyes... a yak9t taking out the death star with 1 shot.

This... a relic from a better time. There was no thor sniping me with the most broken gun the game from across the map, there was no nordstorm with its stupid cloud and flamethrower laser, there was no 2 stage pass you had to buy to get anything half decent. It was just up to rank 15. You could get every ship without grinding for 5 years. Pve matchmaking was based on ship rank and not just random players. There were no pve levels to screw with the balance of the match. This was a happier, more fun, and actually enjoyable time. I want to go back. But of course, gaijin's wallet had to be more important than their game's enjoyability. You should be ashamed of yourselves, gaijin. Star conflict had potential and you threw it away just because your stupid realistic military shooter had all the weebs playing it. If I could, I would buy this game from you and fix it myself, but I don't have the time or the money to do that.
