I can't understand people's aversion to Tom Hardy...He is a brilliant actor, one of the best right now. He's leagues above most of the "popular" actors because he is so diverse...you only have to see clips of his various roles to truly see and understand how much of a dedicated and talented actor he is, no matter what the role requires...and yes, he's beautiful to look at as well ;)

His vowel sounds alternate accents from Laaaandaan to 'American'.

Best example there is 'Come' and 'On' which are pronounced in completely different accents, and his insistence on pronouncing Ruminov or whatever it is a vaguely pan-European but mainly just English way.

His American accent isn't bad, but you can hear the British esp.when he says "plan" It's too soft. C'mon Hardy, put some nice American "twang" into it. Bravo on the New York accent switch, it's fun to impersonate that one!

There are actually multiple american accents in the U.S. Tom's was pretty decent. The best so far is Hugh Laurie's from House.
