Calling Day6 overrated is wild XD

If we talk about a music perspective I can get your point but apart from that? They're not that much talked in the international sphere anymore, despite they've come back from their military hiatus and being one of the most well known k-Bands from the 3rd generation along with The Rose.

Literally how can Day6 be overrated when no one talks about them anymore, and even on their peak, they weren't that successful, it's more of a "i don't see the hype" then "they're overrated".

One other thing I wanted to note was that colorist humor among SM idols is prevalent across the whole company. I never forgot the burial of Chen’s Kunta Kinte joke, nor the self-deprecating/in-group colorist remarks made by SNSD, SHINee, GOT the beat, the numerous offenses by SuJu, etc. It seems to be part of the SM idol culture. Given that SM has been notorious for being the most obsessed with ideal visuals out of the big three since they’ve existed, it’s disappointing but not surprising.

Idk fast foward was really good. I like it is a really good bside on the skz album. I agree chuus solo music is meh. I think the fifty fifty situation is more nuanced than yall make it out to be and forget that these are people with dreams and will do anything to get there. The Itzy Born to Be album is so good all the songs are bops. Ok I'm done responding to these.

sometimes 67 is right but this latest scandal has SO MUCH genuine misinfo going around. people taking a random video of a random person on a scooter and saying it was suga, saying his alcohol level was 0.227% with no source to back it up, and that whole suga challenge seemingly being started by “armys” only for it to be started by antis. i know armys SUCK but this situation was handled and received so horribly i couldn’t believe it. 1000x worse than it needed to be.

13 is so true. Chk chk boom as a title track is amazing but the rest of the album kind of lowkey missed for me? I mean, i love songs like mountains (stream it) but i dont see myself going back by will towards it. Its a really good album, but skz has done better before. Stays dont kill me 🥹

For the "korean Beyoncé" one i agree there is not right now. Even if artist are incomparable i would say in terms of music and vocals the closest korean artist to Beyoncé was Ailee.

We need more duo/trio subunits in kpop, with Chobom and Irene and Seulgi's subunit needing a comback.

I'd love for their to be a co-ed project groups like Triple H but with idols from different companies but unfortunately entitled fans will make that impossible for now.

‏‪2:50‬‏ in Korea, it's really common to visit the hospital for non serious/ urgent health problems. you can get treated for the flu in the hospital there. so idols saying they went to the hospital isn't as big of a deal as it seams

About 35, I am not going to deny that studio j needs to work on their artists promotions, but xdh has been selling out concerts lately and getting more well known in Korea as well (they recently charted with Save Me) I don't expect them to reach the heights of popularity of groups like Stray Kids because of the type of music they do, but they aren't a lost cause either

Im not too sure about the Riize comparison of ‘same music’ I would say that’s valid with Boom Boom Bass and Get a Guitar but I wouldn’t say it for any of their other songs

I love opinion #93. The trio sub units, especially DoJaeJung, put out excellent music. Even if the DJJ album was too short, I needed more! And BSS was fun and infectious. I hope they get a chance to do at least one comeback.
