It signifies that Linkin Park ain’t telling us crap until they’re damn good and ready, just like Slipknot does. Both started roughly the same time and while very different sonically they also have a lot in common. Love both and we’ll know what’s going down when we know.

I think its symbolic. Their new album is going to be called from Zero. Which was their original name before Linkin Park...
Could also be metaphorical, because they hit rock bottom (or zero) with the loss of chester, and now, this iteration of the band is about moving on.

I think they are doing Chester proud. No one comes close to his voice, but what a voice they've found in EA.

To me, it signified an end of an Era. They are completely starting over, and the glitch could be an announcement or a sign that they will not be the same again. They carry on, but with "glitches."

I think if they got a new vocalist, alot of fans will get pissy, claiming that no one can replace Chester. Chester was amazing, but Linkin Park can go on with another vocalist. But no Mike Shinoda=no Linkin Park. Mike is so underrated and I don't think he'll get the accolades he deserves until he passes away.
