The first one made me cry so hard. I myself love cats, and I have four of them. I don't imagine what I would do if that happened to one of my cats.

I usually don't condone hitting kids, but if they're groping at women, a good smack will teach them what will happen if they try that irl.

One time I was taking are of my cousin and she started acting bad and told her no. She goes into the kitchen while I'm watching the tv, and she grabs a knife. I get up and she tries to chase me, but luckily I go into the restroom, lock the door and tell her I'm going to call her mom, she didnt care. But when I called her mom, my cousin starts to cry.

Times like these I’m reminded of a quote from the wise Homer J. Simpson:

“Children are the future, *_unless we stop them now!”_* 😈😈😈

I'm not a babysitter, but I used to clean houses for extra money. Worked for this one family that had a full time nanny, me coming to clean 2 days a week, another lady came to clean another 2 days of the week, dad was at work all the time, never met him, and mom sat on her ass while her staff did all the housework. 4 kids. The kids, with the exception of the oldest girl, were a nightmare. The youngest girl drew on the wall and the floors all the time, and most of my time was spent cleaning those messes. The twin boys would never flush the toilet, so that was an absolute joy to clean. They also had this GIANT dog that they kept locked up in a cage most of the time, and wondered why it was energetic and destructive when they let it out - so they stuck it back in the cage. The last straw for me was when after I had just mopped the kitchen, one of the twins gave me a shit eating grin and dumped all the food from his plate onto the floor. He laughed and said "you missed a spot, maid!" Then went back to playing on his tablet. It was that day that I quit. The mom said I'd never amount to anything and just be stuck serving my "betters" for the rest of my life, and that I was welcome back when I accepted this. I backhanded her and dumped her trashcan out right in her entryway. Which was full of dirty diapers. It was wonderful.

These stories are why I don't want to ever babysit or have kids of my own.

So many of these "Demons" would behave completely differently if they were actually raised with care and discipline.

The inappropriate touching story was a HUGE red flag. I have seen firsthand what sexual abuse does to kids and that is almost exactly how they behave. The reason they paid that babysitter 100 was to keep her from prying, I hope the kids are safe and emotionally/mentally healthy wherever they are now

I was one of these children. I killed a kitten out of a litter my mom rescued. I was 2-4 years old and I threw the kitten at the wall, breaking it's neck.

But...seeing my mom cry like that after it happened. I never hurt another animal again. Now I rescue cats and kittens. I feel horrible for what happened and i was also very disrespectful to my mom all throughout my childhood.

She committed self delete in 2016. I will never stop regretting how disrespectful and hateful I was back then...

Moral of the story: kids don't learn empathy on their own. A lot of these stories is of neglect, abuse, and bad parenting by the parents. I've met amazing kids in my life and only one or two bad apples.

I had to babysit my brother and his friend when they were in third grade (so I would have been about thirteen?). My brother was on a med that made him a psychotic little terror at the time, and his friend was just naturally a little shit. I put the two of them in my brother's room to watch a movie, then started doing my homework in the living room, which has a nice view down the hallway in case the kids tried to start trouble. At one point I got super focused on my homework though, so I didn't see the brats going into my parents' room. They left the movie playing really loudly, so I couldn't hear anything either.

I got my ass beat when my dad got home because the two of them had busted the gun cabinet open and were playing with the (thankfully unloaded) guns. I also got to sort all of the dumped-out bullets back into their boxes, and as someone who doesn't really pay attention to guns, one caliber bullet looks like another.

i had the exact opposite
babysat for a kid
was told about his misbehaviour and stuff

when i got there, he was the sweetest, cutest and nicest kid to me, not a single misbehaviour

when his parents got back, he suddenly started acting up against them, the behaviour i was warned about
parents said "he does this all the time, we dont mind"

i told the kid "this behaviour is bad, and your parents are bad for letting you get away with this" and just called the non emergency police line

with help from professionals they got it settled, the kid got nice to them the way he was towards me, the parents did their best punishing him properly but not too much, and it turned out great, i still babysit that kid (though i prefer calling it "caretaking" because he isnt a baby anymore, thats just a personal thing)

Maybe it's because I'm 40, but of any of these kids had tried any of this shit with me I'd probably sweep their feet if they pulled a knife on me, or thrown them in the pool if it was my kitten.

Domination and fear of a greater potential threat is not something a child nor sane adult is willing to push the boundaries of. I know this because as my niece is an angel as far as I'm concerned, when there's a sudden loud noise it's not her mother she reflexisivly jumps to. She also doesn't cry nearly as much when I'm the only one around and can also carry a mature conversation at 7yo when it's just the two of us.

How do these parents live with themselves hiring young teenagers to do what only Nanny Mcphee or Supernanny could get done.
