I'm a big fan of Straykids and they definitely have much impact on the Kpop industry. At the same time (I'm saying that with so much respect for their work. Especially them producing and writing all their own albums and songs) I need to say that Monsta X worked very hard as a third generation group in making noise music popular. They also had a big impact on fashion like for example harnesses and muscular body types. I'm not saying they are the only one who did it. I'm just saying that they really helped in bringing these things out more. They got a lot of hate for their outfits and noise music but know it's loved and even more popular.

Dreamcatcher has their own genre like this October they are coming with dark I don't know about other groups but coming up with different music styles and genres and mixing it with pop Dreamcatcher is literally discovering the whole with their signature sound influenced by rock and dark They are so passionate about making music and connecting fans through it. I love Dreamcatcher and even though they are not as popular as they should be I am happy that they are happy living their dream of making music. Dreamcatcher fighting October 11 VISION is coming.

@kookielit There have been many bands in kpop prior to Day6. Namely CNBlue or FTisland both of which were hugely successful in the 2000s and early 2010s. Cnblue even won music show awards with their debut son Loner. I sincerely believe that if anyone paved the way for bands in kpop its CNBlue.

SHINee is just so unique, I don't get it how you can not stan them after you get you know them, all the members are so talented, KEY designed those View casual outfits and many of their concert outfits, SHINee was my first kpop group and they are still the only group I follow religiously, I just couldn't get myself to live other groups cause I saw how different SHINees music was so different from other kpop groups, and yeah the dance practice videos, the skinny jeans and those professionally taken photos by our shawols qnd be the it SM Halloween party which became a thing after SHINee actually showed up in costumes and Japanese shawols even shipping lightsticks to Canada for a last minute SHINee concert as they realised many wouldn't have a light stick cause back them SHINee didn't have any official lightstick, there was one Japanese one which the fans shipped...and the huge Sword like lightsticks which Shawols use!! I could kot belive it took SM 10 years to get an offical lightstick for SHINee

This is a decent list but you missed several artists who have had just as much of a profound impact on the Kpop industry- Big Bang, 2NE1, SNSD, NCT, FT Island, Vixx, BoA to name a few... and it’s actually NCT who pioneered and popularised the noise music genre, all these 4th gen groups are following in their footsteps.

As much as i respect skz i still do think Nct being a 3rd gen group started, normalised and popularised the whole "noise music" style first. 4th gen groups simply seem to have followed the footsteps of Nct. Nct really have created a brand on their own and what's crazy is their bsides also have genres like topnotch ballads, rnb and more
