Hey, Kyle! awesome vid thanks! I've been looking all over the internet and still can't find any other simple solution to this supposedly trivial issue. Can you tell me, whether hueDynamic hast this function for RGBW or even RGB CCT strips as well..? like, 8 or 10 hex digits instead of the 6 for RGB? Thanks a ton!:)

Just tried this as my GU10 lamps only give a washed out green but the light strip is a nice deep green. Even with the same code on both lamps the GU10 is still washed out. I think it is just an issue with the early GU10's

Great find Kyle! Getting the a specific color on Hue (or any!) bulbs can be a challenge for sure! Great find on the app. I'm not the biggest fan of connecting apps directly to my bridge though. Just something that feels off about that for me. Do you have any security concerns about allowing different apps direct access to your bridge?

4 years later and Phillips Hue still hasn't improved. I'm glad it works though. I had crappy defective Globe brand stuff that can't connect with their outdated tech.
