For such a mellow guy Dane has one of the most aggressive styles around, absolutely hacks every section to bits

Great video by Jeff Chavolla here. It shows undeniably that nobody gets more energy from a wave, or more speed from it than Dane Reynolds.

He just surfs at a whole other level, he's an absolute unicorn in the water. It's just so impressive.

1958 sand bar 5yrs old digging in sand with bucket and being surprised by the water coming in faster then I could dig. I did not know I would live only a little more then 1and a half miles away 8 years later. My life forever changed by the Ocean, the cliffs, the rocks, sea life. The most impressive was the diversity of plant and tree life I had seen no where else. or since. Very special times. You have a quality of life in your scenes much more than surfing. It adds that something more. Thank you S B

so stylish. wow. on one of those airs, landed, he reminded me of a cat in flight. so rad :) also, as a fan of Lakey Peterson, i can see why she mentions him as a significant influence and some similarities as such. so cool :)

i used to surf with him off nathan lane pierpont blvd when we were 9th 10th grade there was this black bodyboarder that would be killing it at the dredge bout the same time
