English at UC Berkeley: Academic Insights

The University of California at Berkeley is home to the #1 English Department in the United States. Wai Ho is a fourth year English major at UC Berkeley, who spent her summer (seen here) at Stanford University, working as a Residential Counselor teaching high school students at the International Institute. At Berkeley, Wai studies English Literature with a focus on pre-18th Century texts and works as a Writing Tutor at the Student Learning Center, working with fellow students to improve their writing. Learn about the requirements of Berkeley's top English program, and hear about Wai's passion for English and why she wants to work in public education!

DO ALTERNATIVE MAJORS. OR MAJORS THAT AREN'T AVAILABLE AT A LOT OF PLACES. LIKE NARRATIVE STUDIES IN USC ETC.
