I loved seeing Boba Fett, Bib Fortuna, and Jabba and the music was great. Also loved seeing the arena from the Phantom Menace podrace scene too.

I liked this episode, because it makes use of an unconventional resolution. If this story took place in the regular Star Wars universe, it would 100% end with the Padawan overcoming his trauma, becoming a Jedi again to rescue his friend from Jabba using violence. But they didn't do that, and I appreciate it.

And because the main character never goes back to being a Jedi, I think this episode could easily fit in canon if they ever wanted it to.

I adored this episode! It turned away from the Star Wars theme that swirls about that there is a destiny to be fulfilled or a path to follow that is predetermined and, though it may take time, the expected end will be reached. The Jedi doesn't overcome his tragedy and return with renewed purpose to fight for the Jedi Order. The Hutt is bound and determined not to follow in the path laid out for him. It was nice to see characters making their own way, in their own way and, ultimately, 'beating' Jabba not with a fight, but by offering a business proposal. So very smart when dealing with him 😁

I love that this Jedi main character is referenced as an Order 66 survivor and chooses to leave that life behind and become a lead singer/guitarist of this band.

Wasn't it Master Yoda who said something about finding the right means of living life and choosing to leave the harshness of your past behind to live well?

Liked this one a lot, but would probably put it in the bottom set of episodes. That speaks more to the quality of Visions as a whole rather than this being bad though.

I was really confused about the timeline because the main character looks so young. In the flashback, I'm pretty sure it wasn't Order 66 because I thought I saw Phase 1 clones, as well as the fact it was red blaster bolts he was running from. So he ran away from battle droids, near the beginning of the Clone Wars, and just decided to stop being a Jedi. I wonder how much later this is. I expected a scene where he had to use his lightsaber and reveal he was a Jedi.
