for anyone wondering the use case for this, it is to gain more browser compatibility, not just old browser, but also some browser that create their own webview from low-level, i do get this problem with my site for UC Browser, my site does not show anything in UC Browser because they create their own webview and now they never update it, it is almost as old as IE, fetch api does not supported, so to ensure your page is working across all browser, the javascript needed to be compatible or atleast working without javascript
