The purpose of this video is to show you the ski-in ski out access for the Le Chamois which is the building you can see in the middle of the screen at the end of this run. I decided to start adjacent to Painted Cliff at the top of Painted Cliff Road to show you the lovely gradient of this slope, which is Lower Merlin’s. This run should be enjoyed by all levels of skiers and boarders.
I expect that you can already tell as you look straight ahead at Le Chamois, that starting your day on the slopes is an easy walk from Le Chamois to the ten passenger Blackcomb Gondola for upload. You can see the route for yourself in the second half of this video.

In Spring, the groomers on Blackcomb Mountain do an excellent job of moving snow around to provide a strip of snow so that the properties slopeside can still be ski in and ski out regardless of the spring melt. This means that there is a route down Lower Merlin’s Run so that you can ski home to Le Chamois.
