Holy Cow WOW! I remember back in the day when all we had was Petra and the Rez Band. Then the 80's came and we had more choices Stryper Barren Cross and Messiah Prophet. Then came California Metal and Pastor Bob's Sanctuary Church giving us Sacred Warrior White Cross and Guardian. Then came Deliverance and Tourniquet the Crucified and nor mention Veni Domni and the Album of Labor. Now here we are 34 years later and it seems there is nothing these "kids" cant accomplish. If you had told me in 1984 bands like Theocracy were possible I probably would have laughed in your face. But here such quality and their technique of incorporating   what seems to me many popular secular bands such as Maiden, Helloween, Queens Ryche and Metallic, but now reclaimed for God! Very impressive and I wish them many years of success. I cant wait what the next 34 to 40 years will bring in Christian Metal! ROCK

What is amazing, Matt Smith played all the instruments and sang on the original release. For this one, the Theocracy drummer rerecorded the drums, everything else was left the same....amazing!

An encouragement to those that are still listening 11 years later: I wish someone had told me about this band when I was going through such animosity with my fellow sailors in the Navy. I was an obsessive Disturbed fan of getting his vocals down (to the point where I got a few offers to be the singer in others' bands), but the messages are primarily about vengeance. If I had listened to Theocracy in those days, it *could* have set my heart on a different trail of forgiveness and love for the Cross of Christ and taught me to relinquish that anger and embrace His Grace for mine and everyone else's forgiveness of God. Nonetheless, He is Faithful and led me back to it and as a bonus, I have been listening to Theocracy for about seven months as if they were a brand-new band. This is beyond stellar, and I am just as ecstatic now that I am blessed with them now that my life is on the right track as I would have been when they first appeared.

Remember: look up, for your salvation is at hand!

I have cd's from 80's on up by the best Christian Metal pioners  there were at that time theocracy debut album ranks up there as one of the best things my 53 year old ears have heard thanks for coming back out
