it is not easy to find a good laplace transform visualisation video that does not actually just centralise in the mathematics leaving out concepts like these

wouldnt the function approach negative infinity if you approach -1 from the negative side, for example if we plug in it approaches negative infinity but if we pluf -0.9999 then it approaches positive infinity. Yet here it seems to approach only positive from either side

Is it Band pass or band stop? I see them going down in the centre, doesn't it means their gains are low in the centre, then how is it band pass?, forgive me if my interpretation is wrong..
