Like microtechs but their customer service is like talking to hellen keller and ray charles doing the service. Sent mine in for deployment issues. They sharpen it and send it back. Fixed nothing and I had to pay shipping. Screw them.

I used to get all kinds of quick openers but now I just plain love a karambit horizontal weak side, it’s a natural movement when pulling up your shirt to draw….try it!

Do OTF knives have any advantages over normal folders of the similar steel, size and format? As far as I can see - OTFs have more potential mechanical fault points, plus the blade is off center.
Sure, you get spring assisted double action opening and closing mechanism, but you can get folders with spring assist\activation or just silky smooth inertial opening and closing.

Nobody price gouges like Microtech! My second most expensive knife is a Giant Mouse GMPX at $465. I tried the action on an Ultratech and a Guardian Tactical Recon-35. The Recon-35 was smooth as butter, while I had to use two hands to operate the Ultratech. Guess which one I bought myself for my Birthday.

Hopefully Microtech stops putting such a tiny edge grind on the UTX-70's. I love how small they are (I have 2) but the edge is so tiny that it constantly needs to be resharpened.
