This is an old turbo design and the vains get trapped with carbon and it needs a rebuild😮😮

VGT turbos are great but expensive and obviously have more parts so more things to fail that being said they are great because you can use a big turbo on a engine for high end power but still be able to spool the turbo at lower rpm’s, since they can close themselves to essentially act as a small turbo under low load. they increase fuel economy and can be used as exhaust brakes they have tons of bonus’s but the two cons are price and reliability

Ничего нового, турбина с изменяемой геометрией с управлением от вакуумного актюатора. Чтоб она исправно работала и незакоксовывалась, нужно миниму раз в неделю хорошо прогнать автомобиль 150-200 км, чтоб сажа прогорала.
