The sixties had plusses and minuses but when it came to music, that decade was absolutely unmatched

I was only 19 in 1965, was in Vietnam. brown water navy behind a 20 mm gun. One hell of a wake up call . out of school in may on a gun in sept. the 60's was a huge part of my life. 62 in Navy reserve then went regular navy 65 till 1969. A bitter sweet time of my life. Listen to these song brings back lot's of memories some good some not so. turn 79 next month life is good.

My husband was in Nam in 65 and 66.
So many came back with PTSD and agent orange complications. So much sadness...at least this music kept them going during their tours.

Wow this songs brings back such beautiful memories. I was 15 years old...reminds of my first and only boyfriend I had. Got married at tge age of 22 .we were married for 47 years. He sadly passed away 4 years ago..rip my dearest husband. Missing you beyond words..this music we both enjoyed. ❤im going down memory lane now.
