Free Response Question #5 from the 1994 AP Calculus AB Exam.
Free Response Question #2 from the 1994 AP Calculus BC Exam.

This problem involved related rates! A circle is inscribed in a square and remains tangent to the square as both increase in size. We find the rate of change of the perimeter of the square and the rate of change of the area between the two. (I struggled to set this up because I confused area and perimeter, but I kept thinking it through and eventually got it!)

Solving old Free Response Questions (FRQs) is the best way to prepare for the AP Calculus exam! Even the really old problems still have a lot of value!

there is an error with B, the area of the square should be 4r^2, not 8r
