I hope Agnes doesn’t come back—well, at least not without a proper conclusion and answers to all the lingering questions.

I know the series had a theme of not forcing young girls to shoulder the weight of the world alone, emphasizing that we all lift it together. It has always been this way. However, Calvard is known for its darker narrative, so going against the usual flow and delivering a storyline that challenges this theme could be a smart move. After all, there isn’t always a magical solution that saves everyone; sometimes, sacrifices are necessary.

I suppose Epstein, Sophie, Lilia, Roy, and Hamilton all understood this, but the loops remained unbreakable—at least until the 20, 000th one, where the world could finally move forward and face the Great Collapse.
But Van is the demon who controls time—or is at least connected to it. We might get to see him break the shackles of time. It has been referenced so many times that it seems obvious he will eventually end this loop and bring Agnes back. Who knows?

Sadly, the cynic in me can't feel more emotional over it, since it's pretty obvious that Agnes will be brought back by the end of the last Calvard game. Maybe if she isn't, this song will be sadder in hindsight.
