I leica q3 is more expensive and is only full frame, a sony a1 ii is almost double the price with half the resolution, a leaf shutter lens like from Hasselblad is $5k before ever buying the body. The x100vi was the most popular fixed lens camera ever, the x-pro line is gone and you think this for under $5k is expensive. I think they hit it out of the park. The X2D from Hasselblad with a similar focal length would be $14, 000 and the only benefits are interchangeable lenses and 16 bit color. Fuji is doing a fantastic job of making medium format affordable.

I recently bought my first Fujifilm camera, but it’ll probably be my last. Fujifilm’s approach is baffling—it feels like a brand that can’t be trusted:
1.Their lenses and cameras go out of stock and just stay that way, with no restocks in sight, yet they keep releasing new models (like the upcoming GFX100FR and instax mini 41™).
2.They’ve discontinued their physical film, yet keep pushing more and more film simulation filters on new digital cameras. It feels like they’re abandoning the essence while clinging to the surface.

I think they've nailed this promo video. This camera is a stupid price, a stupid aperture and just a bit weird. That said, I'm so desperate for it. I love film but I hate the process. These cameras make you slow down and think. I'm going to wait until they're under £2500 to get one.

Well, thank you Fuji for saving me some money by not buying this. No OVF, no IBIS on a 100 megapixel camera, a slow lens. Only benefit are the megapixels, but low light will suck, tripod will be needed for video and to some degree landscape . Now fingers are crossed for a xpro 4 🙏🙏😜

Why do fujifilm not use vibrant colours in promotional videos. It looks as things are lost somewhere and not popping up. Main release video was also not to the mark in my assessment.
