So we solved the mystery. But at what cost? Was it even worth it in the end? Every detective has one of those cases. The one that keeps you up at night, whether you solved it or not.

Thanks Bethesda. For finally giving me the chance of feeling like the detective side-kick I always wanted to be in this game.

1:05 I don't know how everyone else views this piece of music, but it's this part in particular. I just can't explain it but it gives me a feeling of either loneliness, or someone who is lost and is searching for something special. Music is a strange but amazing thing but it aside from what I said, it also has the ability to access the past in my head bringing back emotional memories. Overall an amazing soundtrack that really does justice for the setting of which we play in.

1:00-2:00 that's the stuff right there, that part playing while exploring in the dense fog in the dead silence of the island.so mysterious and calm, kinda gives me silent hill vibes

1:34 I physically cannot explain how, but this music does something to me. Far Harbor truly is a mystery and no matter how many times I play through, I feel like I missed something. Like there's a piece of the puzzle that's just out of reach, and if I had it the island would be happy. It FEELS sad because nothing truly good can become of the sad people. The feeling like they would've been better off if no one had gotten involved. I always feel like when I've done all I can do and leave the island for good, it's truly worse off. No music has ever carried such perfect sadness like this.

I don't know if this is true, or if It happened in my mind...

But I remember standing in the middle of Far Harbour, with Paladin Danse. I was looking around the various vendor stores. And as I came out of my Inventory after checking my ammo levels, someone walked past me and said:

'Another peace of the world, ruined by you Brotherhood types...I hope your proud of what you did at Acadia...'

Now I wasn't really bothered by this, until later on in my game, yeah I played the games DLCs out of order and such, when Blind Betrayal happened. It hit me there and then that I'd wiped out a colony of Synths, not even knowing that my companion was one...

I'll admit, I nearly cried...I'd never felt more guilty during my time playing Fallout 4...

Again, what one of the Fishermen said could have been something I remembered wrong...but it is kind of true...the Brotherhood move in, destroy anything that isn't human, confiscate technology, then maintain a military presence wherever they are.

And that makes me sad....

I live in a part of the Pacific NW that has a lot of islands and inlets, and this song just does it for me by making me think of home. This DLC was for me, the best environmentally in the game.
