It's great seeing this. Ive seen people say they can live for 1k a month and found that unbelievable. I would want my own place for a start. Ive been to Thailand years apart between trips. Last year i found it to be very expensive. We spent 4k in 19 days on trips/ taxi every day and great food with massages and beauty treatments, but we ate very well in lots of great restaurants etc this was for 4 people. Realistically, how much would it be for your own little 2 bed house with pool per month? Would love to go for 3 months.

My son is lived in Thailand for 15 years. He says he spends about $400 a month but he goes out to eat three times a day coffee snacks bottled water he eats like a Thai person would with an occasional going out to an American style food
