While Italy is clearly one of the most interesting places in the world, the most beautiful language, best food and wine, layered history, opera and calcio et al, Italian/Italian-American guitarists are consistently the worst I’ve ever heard, exception Frank Zappa. Rehearsed solos with focus on technique and showing off seem to be the main motivation. This music is so awful in every sense, tho technically fantastic. Gimme J.Mascis or J.Hendrix any day of the week!
