I hate it when they get my order wrong, and I can tell the difference from taste. But I don’t like to go and accost them for a mere drink.
Plus I feel getting a latte instead of cappuccino is not as bad as someone getting a dairy coffee then they had specifically asked for dairy free.
A friend of mine is allergic, and luckily I happened to taste the coffee and that was the only time I went back to the barista and told her it’s not dairy free.

Latte is 1/4 espresso, 1/2 milk, 1/4 foam and cappuccino is 1/3 espresso, 1/3 milk, 1/3 foam. IE latte is milky and creamy from the foam and cappuccino has stronger espresso flavor and also more sweet tasting due to having more foam. The drinks taste completely different.

As a barista I can say that I never would do that, plus we don’t print latte art we do it ourselves. Also Technically that wasn’t even a cappuccino. that was a pencil width of foam meaning it in fact was a latte the whole time
