My IMMEDIATE thought was how he dismissed what Gabrielle went through, when she was the SAME WOMAN standing up for HIM in the same matter. Something can be your experience and not be someone elses. That does NOT mean dismiss altogether.

I think the other issue with Gabrielle was the fact that she came to his defense and had his back almost immediately when he reported assault . He did not return the favor. Could have just stated he did not know anything about her personal experiences but supports her.
