Je suis senegalais et je suis un trés grand fan du président Kagamé pour tout ce qu'il a fait pour son pays. En 1994 le pays était aux fins fond des ténébres et le peuple divisé. Un homme patriote, asoifé de justice, courageux et édifié de bon sens, donne une lecon d'intégrité non seulement aux chéf d'états africains mais á toute la communauté internationale. This will only be possible if you start by building bigger roads than the today's roads, because I've seen that if we need to build the road, there are some infrastructures which are demolished (destroyed).
So, this may come again in the future the time we will need to build bigger roads (this will requires us to demolish again our very good infrastructures we build today)

My point of view, we need to start first of all by bigger roads than the today's ones.

I'm gladly surprised of seeing African colleagues delivering such advanced and ambitious answers to their needs, from conception to representation. A great job. Kigali`s master plan looks great and I wish luck to the people of Rwanda making this ambitious plan true. I just have a recommendation. Do not implement BRT. These systems have a lifespan shorter than the metro systems. Maybe the size of Kigali can help it to made that system better. I'm talking from the experience of a 7 million + inhabitants city that implemented BRT and just after 15 years, let me tell you, it's a complete failure. So, don't implement BRT, don't let these Lobbyists play the fool with you and build a decent transportation system, a metro, and preferably, a subway. It's the best answer.
