Good information I’ve been using. I was just born again in January. I’m already out evangelizing even making it the focus of my channel.

The other thing that I always mention is that the apostles were scared to death. Aside from John, they had hidden while Jesus had been crucified. They thought that the movement was suddenly over, and the they might be next up on the cross. Then, something changed, and they came out from hiding and began actively preaching all over even though their lives were in constant danger. Only the resurrection could have caused them to be so bold.

Why some have problems with Reasoned eclecticism.
I John 5:7 is found in a majority of the Latin,
but not the Greek so out it goes.
Good will towards men
Doxology in Matthew
Without cause
God manifest in the flesh
Are a majority in the Greek but not in the Latin,
so out they go
The PA and Mark 16:9-20 are a majority in both the Greek
and Latin so out they go.
Even the “not yet” found in the two of the earliest(P66.P75) in John 7:8
some throw out.
If as an orthodox Christian you don't see a problem,
what would you see as a problem?

The problem is pastoral care requires faithful attendance, faithful giving, participation in duty, and even a club mentality. There is almost zero compunction to build faith or knowledge of it save to accept and appropriate life lessons from the pulpit. Those that do build are a minority thought largely fringe to the status quo. Are you saved? Good. Just sit there and listen. If you get there, it's under your own steam.
