GT-HD 15, re-spool this line time and time again, best line I’ve ever used.

GT-HD 15lb by far the best line I’ve used! Low stretch, robust, never had it fail or let me down!!

Gt80+ in 12lbs, I use this line at 150 yards by bait boat, Never twists not like some lines I've used. It's a Great line.

So is GT- HD a direct upgrade from Pro?
Currently using pro light in 15lb, but would love an 18lb version for cats aswell as carp (one of my venues require you to use 18lb minimum.

Which should I get for 12ft 3lb test rods, fishing at Cudmoor fisheries, Home farm fisheries, Rode pool, Lakemore fisheries, Moreton fishery, and Astbury mere, etc? I could be fishing at range at a really rough water with deep weed and has carp over 40lb, pike 30lb and catfish 80lb? Thinking of Pro light xm .40 but what are the others like?

Can't believe Gr60 hasn't been given a mention! I'm using hydrosink atm but if I go back to mono, it would have to be Gr60. Only time it let me down was on a 60lb cat and that was my fault. Landed 2 different 60lb cats from weedy uk waters and loads of carp up to scraper 30 as well in demanding conditions
