My parents divorced when I was 3. My mom started to being toxic to me and my Dad by jealousy. I was staying with her (the law decided so), and I was seeing my Dad once every 2 weeks. When he was driving me home back to my mom, he would play the album of Phil Colins. I never understood the lyrics because I am from France (and I was too young), but everytime I was crying on the way home, because I was unhappy and didn't want to see my Mom, and I was making sure my Dad wouldn't see me sobing while he was driving.
Now I am 24, I live in UK and I understand perfectly the lyrics, but still can't stop crying at the songs.. :')
