Today, we’re going to talk about what to do if you have a stroke and the best nutrient to support stroke recovery.

Mini-strokes have symptoms that aren’t permanent. But severe strokes can leave permanent damage. If you have a mini-stroke, the odds of you having a severe stroke are pretty high.

Warning signs of a stroke:
• Loss of balance
• Blurry vision
• One side of the face starting to droop
• Arm or leg weakness
• Speech difficulty

If you experience these symptoms of a stroke, it’s crucial to call an ambulance as soon as possible. There is a certain medication that can help you if you can get it fast enough.

There is also a type of vitamin E called alpha-tocotrienol that may be beneficial. All it takes is a very small amount of this nutrient to help prevent glutamate-induced brain cell death.

If you start noticing stroke symptoms, you may also want to take alpha-tocotrienol as quickly as possible or use it during your stroke recovery.

Tocotrienols may help prevent a stroke, help prevent damage during a stroke, and support recovery after a stroke.

Tocotrienols are also very powerful for many other health conditions. Vitamin E, in general, is necessary to allow omega-3 fats to work in the brain.

One of the top causes of vitamin E deficiency is a diet high in refined grains. Or, you might not be consuming enough vitamin E. But keep in mind that it isn’t easy to get vitamin E from food.

Natural ways to help prevent a stroke:
• Consume garlic
• Get on the ketogenic diet
• Avoid consuming sugar
• Take omega-3 fatty acids and avoid omega-6 fatty acids
• Exercise regularly

At 80 years old my Mother had a severe stroke. She was completely paralyzed on one side. The doctor said she’d have to live in a convalescent hospital the rest of her life. I immediately began research and found out that the AMA recommends acupuncture. I got her acupuncture treatments. After the 3rd treatment she completely recovered. Acupuncture will only be helpful if done within the first30 days after a stroke. My mom was at her 29th day when she received her first treatment. She was completely mobile. She lived her life out enjoying her own home.

I was recovering from a small stroke that severely effected my cognition. I saw your video on supplements to take to help memory. 6 months later: my family says I am back to being normal ! Thank you !

Glad you mentioned GARLIC. My grandparents consumed garlic all the time (cooked in food, roasted, powdered, and raw sometimes). They never had a stroke, hbp or heart disease. My grandpa even smoked (lightly) til he was 70. Both lived well into their 90s. Grandma 97.

My mom was acting strange she wasn’t responding to me as usual. She would repeat everything that I was saying and she could barely walk. So, I immediately called 911 and gave her cayenne pepper in water and she was back to talking by the time the paramedics arrived. They took her to the doctor and she was diagnosed as having a stroke. She has no physical signs of a stroke- to God be the glory.

I have learned so much from you, Dr. Berg, and I thank you. I have had aneurysms. I was 1 in 10, 000 survivor in 2005. Ten years later, almost to the day, i had a triple aneurysm and a small stroke (due to a clot complication). I have been eating according to your teachings on Keto. My left side is a little numb, and weaker. I am 63, and have put my trust completely in our Lord Jesus. I was led to you, and it saved my life, and i thank you. ❤

Seven years ago my mother passed away after having a stroke. That night when she had her stroke she was feeling kinda restless. I asked her again & again about her restlessness & insisted her to go to the hospital but she repeatedly refused. Later that night she was up from sleep & tried to go to the bathroom but she couldn’t & fall. I heard the noise & rushed there. I found her on the floor struggling to gather her strength. She urinated on herself, lose control over her hands, couldn’t move her legs, face was droopy & salivating, mumbling & couldn’t speak clearly. I'm no doctor but I could clearly tell what was going on with her. I immediately called the ambulance & she was hospitalized asap. When the reports appeared we get to know that the left side of her body become paralyzed. She stayed like that for almost six months & her conditions never actually improved. She got all possible treatments but nothing helped because of her diabetes, kidney problems, hypertension & above all insane level stress. After six months she went to comma & never woke up again. Since her departure I've learned a few things & tend to follow them possibly always. And these are : never take your body for granted because its ability of self healing comes with a boundary, reduce your stress level amsp, eat healthy, exercise regularly, listen to your doctors, some medications are for lifetime (being an asthma patient inhaler for me) & should always be taken, and most importantly value your one & only life because that's the one & only one we've got.

I had a mini stroke during my sleep and because I didn't have any of the symptoms you mentioned, my Dr. insisted I did not have a stroke, even though I had numbness on my left side. It took 4 months before it showed on MRI that a neck surgeon ordered. My doctor that said I definitely did not have a stroke, said I needed neck surgery for my numbness. Why I have a hard time trusting Dr's

As a child i saw both grandparents have strokes, after seeing how it happens ( i called the ambulance as i was only other in the house) There is NO way you would be able to administer med on you own, you wouldnt be able to open a cupboard, or the bottle. I managed somehow to give my grandad asprin, i couldnt understand what he was saying as speech gone but i could see what he was reaching for, he got it down and saved his life, he did die a few months later though.

My mother just had a stroke. I went directly to your channel and searched. Watched your amazing video then ordered the Vit E Tocotrienols that will arrive tomorrow. Haven't watched you in awhile, but previously a note taker on your other videos. Thank you so much for caring enough to help people the way you do. Focusing on cause and prevention, not symptom patching. America needs more doctors like you! Blessings!

My Mom saved her neighbor's life several times. While waiting for the ambulance, she gave hin a shot of whisky. It allowed the blood vessels to dilate so blood could flow past the clot.

Dr. Berg, How I wish I had seen this video years ago when my mom had her major stroke. Seeing her decline after the stroke was/is life shattering. It rendered her completely reliant on others-her worse nightmare. She was medicalized for three years and it was the saddest! I knew more could be done, but was asking questions of the wrong people ! So, thank you for this information Dr. Berg. This, and all the information you share is so very important, and I’m so very grateful for it. My mother can’t be helped, but everyone else around me can, given this information.
