Remember when tv shows had theme songs? No original lyrics here, but I liked the way "Highlander" appropriately used Queen's "Princes of the Universe" for its opening theme music.

This brings back memories for damn sure, like the smell of dinner cooking in the summertime, playing pogs, and the jingles and noises from Jeopardy from the TV, and this show of course, what a gem.

I grew up on this. I recall my friend and I playing with sticks as swords, me as Duncan, my friend as Quentin (animated series).

Currently on the last (i think) season of my first watch-through. This and "Renegade" are by far the best 90s action shows I've seen. "Walker Texas Rangers" is awesome but really preachy. Renegade can focus too heavily on comedy in some episodes but Highlander is almost perfect. It's dark as hell but still has character moments providing light humour without detracting from the dark tone too much. It also filmed in extremely varied locations compared to your average "filmed in Ontario" 90s tv show. And Highlander has some very high-effort historical segments. Last night there was an episode with a full WWI era battle sequence, and cant forget the swordfighting.
