Filmmakers are the most powerful communicators the world has ever known. Lawyers are not. Our course will teach you how to think like a filmmaker to make you more compelling, more captivating, a hell of a lot more entertaining, and thus more persuasive during every trial. The lawyers at the other table are thinking like lawyers. Are you of like mind, or do you want to win?

The Judsons set out to create the most comprehensive, dynamic and innovative online trial advocacy training ever created – focusing initially on the dramatic performance aspects of trial advocacy, which are arguably the most under-appreciated, undervalued and yet perhaps, the most vital elements of truly great trial lawyering.

Judson Graves was profiled in The National Law Journal’s annual feature “Winning,” as one of “10 top trial lawyers in the United States.” A Fellow of The American College of Trial Lawyers, in over four decades at Atlanta-based Alston & Bird, he has tried over 100 jury trials to verdict, winning almost 90% of those trials. Jud’s defense verdicts cited by The National Law Journal were among the most difficult defense wins in U.S. in 1993, 1998, and 2008. He’s taught trial advocacy extensively as an adjunct professor at Emory Law School, implemented a firm-wide litigation associate training program at Alston, and has taught trial advocacy skills at other firms as well.

In Judson Squared online courses, Jud conducts a master class on movement, preparation, proxemics and prosody, giving you a new set of powerfully persuasive tools to take into every trial.

Judson Vaughn was a social scientist, then a character actor in Hollywood who worked in movies and television with: Gabriel Byrne, Jim Carrey, Kevin Costner, Kevin Kline, Juliette Lewis, Laura Linney, Steve Martin, Mary Tyler Moore, Joe Morton, Carroll O’Connor, Brad Pitt, Blair Underwood, Sam Waterston, and many others. Then he became a producer and director. Since 2003, he’s been teaching trial lawyers how they can benefit from the things he learned in all of those professions.

He’s conducted CLEs, trial advocacy training workshops, and/or worked on trial teams with lawyers from Baker Donelson; Bass Berry & Sims; Bradley; Dentons; Eversheds Sutherland; Greenberg Traurig; Holland & Knight; Jones Day; King & Spalding; Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie; Moore & Van Allen; Troutman Pepper; Womble Bond Dickinson, and many others.
