I appreciate everything you guys are doing! Something I haven't seen books/youtube tutorials talk about is evaporation into a stagnant medium or almost stagnant medium using free convection. For example, water on a surface, not changing in size with time because it is somehow being replenished from a reservoir of some sort in relatively stagnant air. The tough part for me is that when the liquid is directly contacting the air, you can't use a a tube length to approximate diffusion distance. You also can't use BL theory because there isn't a flow over the surface. You can try to use the grashof/sherwood #'s but again, there's no velocity. There's also trying to come up with wet/dry temperatures to find pressures.at the interface and partial pressure in the air. If you guys can get around to it, can you please go over a comprehensive example where you use free convection, or even the two-film method, to explain what assumptions you have to make in this type of situation? I'm guessing you guys won't have time, but either way I'm still grateful for the information you guys have already put on here.

Thank you Professor. Would you be able to comment how the simulation was done and the underlying equations that relates Pressure, temperature and tube height? This is a brilliant example to showcase the application of physicochemical principles to non-mathematics students using real time simulation.

Thank you Dr. I would appreciate to share the simulation name link.
