Is there any other technique to make a loop on memory wire .As the memory wire is tough ..

can you do these designs without memory wire but other wire?

My memory wire keeps snapping instead of bending, even when I bend it in the direction of the curve, but especially when I try an outward facing loop. I've been able to make less than 10 loops without the wire breaking, out of 30 attempts. Most frustrating of all is when I've been able to make a loop on one end of a long, seed bead bracelet, only to have the other end snap off repeatedly until I run out of wire.


Fyi, I've bought all kinds of tools, some like the pliers used in this video, others special loop-making tools. I've concluded it's either something about my technique, or the memory wire material: it's antique brass.

Please help!!!! Any and all suggestions welcome!
