I have been telling my fellow Liverpool fans for two years now that Gakpo will succeed at Liverpool, but Nunez won't. Gakpo can get 15-20 G/A per season for Liverpool in the prem, Slot can bring out the best in Gakpo. However, I don't see Nunez making it at Liverpool, I cannot fault Nunez in terms of effort, but his "end product" is just not good enough.

Gakpo was a shrewd buy and another gem picked out by our transfer team, however I'm baffled at the Chiesa signing tbh, he's clearly not up to speed, has little niggly injury's here n there and I thought our analysis team and transfer team wouldve identified this straight away in him ??? I know he was only 12/13 million however, we have Doke who is fit, explosive, dynamic, direct and would have imo been better off staying with us as and been great cover for Mo ? We also have Rio Ngumoha who looks like he's gonna be a star aswell, so the Chiesa move doesn't seem right imo ?? In Jan I think we need a good solid centre half to shore up our back line, Endo & Gravo have sewn up the No6 role, and with Bajetic returning in the summer I honestly think we are fine in that department, I would love Jota to remain injury free until end of season as he'd get at least double figures in goals & assists and would contribute to us winning silverware imo !!!
