If I were Danielle Smith, I would prioritize keeping the rural areas and all those Calgary ridings she won happy. She can maybe try to please a few more ridings in Calgary that were narrowly lost and not worry too much about the other ridings in Calgary and Edmonton that went bigly to the NDP. Edmonton should be low priority for her in my opinion, they deserve the consequences that comes with continuing to vote for the economy destroying AB NDP in Edmonton. I am saying this as an Edmontonian, I am sick and fed up with the voters in Edmonton. As long as Ms Smith keeps the groups I mentioned above happy, she will always be premier and be able to further a strong Alberta Sovereignty agenda. Edmonton wokesters can freeze, I don't care. Thank you to the rural areas with common sense.

Rick Bell, we know who we are as NDPs it will be very easy. We want to protect public health care, reducing the high costs of university tuition the UCP jacked up, building more public schools to meet population growth and hiring more teachers and teachers aids. Re opening the labs in the hospitals that the UCP closed creating havoc in the labs throughout Calgary. Having a teams based approach to health care and a plan to attract all the doctors who no longer want to work in Alberta. Attracting more investment in green technologies to create good paying jobs. Increasing corporate taxes from the lowest to the lowest in Canada to pay for the public health and education. Trash the RStar give away 20 Billion to have oil companies clean up the abandoned oil wells that they are legally bound to clean up. Stopping all Coal Mining in the Eastern Slopes of Alberta to protect our water for drinking, agriculture and fishing. Finishing what we started and bring 100% children out of poverty we managed 50% the last time we were in government. Taking charge of the carbon tax so we decide how to spend this money rather than letting Justin Trudeau have control. Ending the backwards Social Studies elementary education curriculum that ignored research in the field of education for decades. Consulting with teachers and experts to create an up to date curriculum that includes the real history of First Nations. I could go on but progressives know who we are. Could it be that besides an aversion to taxes the UCP may not really know who they are moving forward.
