Digital Europe: Council adopts new rules on judicial cooperation - European news and politics

The Council adopted two revised regulations - one on the taking of evidence and one on the service of documents - to modernize the cross-border exchange of information between authorities through digitization.

After reaching a political agreement with the European Parliament in June 2020, the text will now be sent to Parliament for final adoption.
