My soul mate Donna passed away with cancer before she died we went to see Charlie Londesborough then got to meet in him an his lovely wife, they gave Donna a huge poster of Charlie an signed it we were so happy, one year later Charlie was back in our city i went that day an seen him told him Donna had passed away an asked him to play my foeverfriend in donnas memory not only did he do that but told everybody bout Donna I was in floods of tears, a heartfelt thanks to him an i thank my lord for letting me have Donna as my one an only soul mate x

i love this song. it was my late husband favorite, after he became a christian. he asked me often to sing it.. i recorded me songing it & put on a cd along with songs i wrote, thinking ifff i died first he would have them to listen to. but cancer got him. so the love of my life for 51 1/2 yrs is now with his forever friend.. waiting for me to join them. I love my forever friend Jesus, and i want others to want him to. ty for this awesome song. blessings to you.

I come back to Charlie's song especially in July, as I played this song for my dying sister, she was w stage 4 breast cancer & was spreading to her lungs! Felt so helpless, just kept her company, played her songs, held her hand... so sad to loose a younger sibling... merci Mr. Landsborough, you keep us going w your music!!!

This song was my uncles funeral song. This is the first time I'm listening to it since. My family are going through a rough time atm and the future is uncertain coming back to this song to my forever friend has been hard. These words mean more to me now than ever.
