As an alienated father, it helps to remember that God is the ULTIMATE Alienated Father.
And remember, Jesus didn't go "no contact" in the passage under discussion simply because He had a new family. He was doing the will of the Father... His REAL "mother's, " "brothers" and "sisters?" Those are people who sought God's will so that they could rightly refer to Jesus' Father as OUR Father.
