+RequiemBoS *The Fokker D. VI and Dr. I are both featured in the **_Rise of Flight_** series.* The available instrumentation was quite primitive in the 1910's and oftentimes all over the cockpit. Actually, holding the blip switch (which shorts the magnetos) too long doesn't starve the engine of fuel; it fouls the plugs with excess fuel and castor-bean oil lubricant.

Nice one Req! Thanks for this. All I gotta do is actually GET Flying Circus now!! I've got RoF but this is a must. Not too bothered about Tank Crew but then hey, it takes all sorts, don't it? You doing one on the A8 sometime soon by the way?

Great video, i just have one issue, when I'm flying the dr1 it tends to pull up very strongly so i have to push down on the elevator quite a lot. Any solution for that? Am i just too stupid?

I have a question this bird.
I would love to fly her but during flight I almost need to push the stick almost all the way forward to keep the nose level. If I leave the stick neutral I get immediately 30-45 degrees nose up and it keeps doing this.
I do not see any trim settings on the plane. What am I doing wrong? This is the only plane in flying circus Vol1 acting like this.

Great video, as always. I follow you since your tutorials for RoF, but now I can't find the old videos anymore. Did you put them offline? I think they're still a great guide for RoF begginers.

"Turns better to the right than to the left" - how so? The engine spins to the right from the pilot's perspective, which means the counter force (torque) is trying to roll the plane to the left.
