All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr | Review

Just some quick thoughts on this one. This'll be the last video I post in 2014! I have a bunch of videos already filmed and waiting to be edited, including three Top Five of 2014 videos - series, standalones, and "most interesting." I really enjoyed this novel; it's not my favourite historical fiction set during WWII (I've read quite a bit), but I thought Doerr's writing was good, and I enjoyed both of the main characters. And the end...the end. Great review!

I read this last Fall when it first came out and it is easily one of the best books I've ever read. It was beautifully written and it made me cry more than once lol And it takes a lot to make me cry!

Great review, and glad you enjoyed the book as much as you did. I didn't love the book, but I did like it. I read the book over half a year ago I think, so the best word I can come up with at the moment about what bugged me about the book is that something about it felt detached. I'd definitely like to read it again though.
