What is the ansible inventory file?

This video is going to go into everything regarding the Ansible inventory file as it relates to Ansible Network Automation. I am going to show an Ansible inventory example for the Ansible inventory yaml method and the Ansible inventory ini method. We will briefly discuss the ansilbe inventory example yaml pros and cons. I will also show you how to create Ansible inventory file and two different Ansible inventory examples.

Along with the ansible inventory file examples we will go into the ansible inventory best practices. There is a way to define ansilbe inventory ip address and ansible inventory command line. Ansible inventory management is best done with an ansible inventory name and we will look at the ansible inventory location. You can edit an inventory file with ansible inventory comment and the ansible inventory all groupings contains all the devices.
