I appreciate the review, even 5 years later in 2024. I've played bar darts for fun in the past but recently got a wild hair to buy a board for my garage for when friends stop over. My local stores only sell Viper and Arachnid boards which seem so outdated when you see the Granboard. Currently Amazon either sells the Granboard Dash or 3s and I have not seen a v2 board. From what I can see, the big difference between the Dash & 3s is the lighting and bluetooth which you mentioned. The lighting and especially the sound makes this board stand out over other boards and seem to provide more excitement for the player vs Viper or Arachnid. I'm sure many buy it for the online match play but I don't see myself using that feature. 5 years later, do you still like this board and has it lasted that long? 5 yrs ago they were probably $250 but now pushing $310 so they are a small fortune especially if you are a once in a while with friends player.

Where did u get ur stand from to hold up the grand board

I have used the VDarts, Eagle Darts, Gran Board 3 and the Gran Board Dash.
The Gran Board Dash is an absolute waste of money. At least 1 dart per round falls out of it. The quality is not there at all.
The VDarts is a solid board but limited amount of players on at any time. Also, my least favorite app.
The Eagle Board has the best app and best quality board but has the least amount of players available. It is the worst board for finding players too. I had to start my own Eagle Darts Facebook page to get players to play me.
The Gran Board 3 is the best investment because there are always at least 20 players on the app available to play games with around the world. Hope this helps.

Nothing will happen to gran board 3s when shooting darts while its off rigjt? Sometimes I like to shot while resting between working out sets in my home gym..

BEen a dartsconnect softip player for a few years now (loving it still) but always been told granboards are better, better app, more players online, more single player games etc.. Since im in the UK its hard to get Granboards. Is this G3 a much better board than my DC board?

Great review thks. I have a question, I don’t have good lighting where I play, can we setup the board with lights on all the time ? This would avoid buying a light ring…

It looked possible in the video but do you see any reason you couldn’t trim some of the black ring away from the top for low height rooms? It looks like there is a good 2” above the 20 that doesn’t need to be there

Hmm, weird, I never need to went thru the step-by-step BT connections thing on my DASH. Not sure why . Great review BTW.

I've got mine hooked up now, can i use the display on just my iPhone, or will it work on my windows 10 laptop computer? What is the best way to display? ALSO, is there any firmware updates I need to be aware of for the board itself or no? I bought it during the heyday of the pandemic so many months ago. it is working fine but is there some new firmware features or anything I need to know about that has come out lately that I need to upgrade the unit with in the last 5 months since it came in. I just started using it tonight (got it mounted to the wall tonight). My little iPhone is working fine but i'd like to have all of this come up on a big screen computer monitor on a computer running windows 10. would I have to run an Android Emulator on the computer to emulate a smart phone just to use it on a computer....or do they have a windows 10 program written yet???
