After watching this and another guy in Germany had the same issue. He built a little bump and steel plate guide to divert the water. It’s pretty low cost, your home can be free from this kind of inodations

I think a lot of this could've been prevented if the residents located every sewer and cleared out the drain of debris.

Ahh yes it's a rain forest. Cloud seeding doesn't help. 😅
