Benq W2700 problem, issue

After i play any video image split and in the right side become little darkness, this issue appear few seconds and dissapear, appear after few seconds and again dissapear, 4-5 time make like this and after is work good maybe 30 minutes and make again.
Please note this problem appear with hdmi cable connected and without.
In image on the clip you will see menu of the projector and no device is connected, the problem is inside of the projector and the problem is not from hdmi cable or the source.
Note this: In service they have same problem so this model have an issue.
I upload this becouse maybe some of you people maybe you know what the problem is and i write to the service to know, but i think there is engineering and they knew, i don't know.
I can say this model have a big problem, and i think all who have this model have this issue but they do not know this is a problem.
I wait your feedback.

For all who say about HDMI cable, audio need to put separate.
Guys, read all, watch all my video.
I send it 4 times, all 4 times they recognize this model to have a problem.
I have audio separate, i have good HDMI cable, 4k 60hz certificate hdr 10.
This model have a problem, END OF DISCUSSION !!

Updating firmware didn't help for me. This happened to me - I figured it out. If you are trying to watch hdmi through your sound system and then to the projector then this will happen. You need a separate audio line. Fibre optic cable for example. This sorted the issued for me. Also, click the 3D mode on and off... may sort your issue. I have a sound system optic cable connected to my ps4 from sound system. Then a HDMI cable from ps4 to projector..this worked for me. Initially, I had HDMI from midi system to projector which caused your issue. Hope some of this helps you.

I have the same problem. Some of the same cases have been reported in Korea. There's a story about the hdmi cable that I looked up on the Internet.
We checked all three different hdmi 2.0 cables and both hdmi 2.1 cables, but the same phenomenon occurred.
We also tried to print out audio using optical cables on the SPDIF terminal, but the same thing happened again.
And if the hdmi cable is a problem, there should be no problem when the 'BenQ' logo comes in at the beginning, which also expresses different colors on the left and right sides.
Or the whole output is black and white without color, or the magenta color is strongly emphasized.

I have same problem but with the added stuck mirrors. Looks like stuck pixels. All 3 units have both problems. I am on my fourth new projector.

I have the exact same issue. I boght my w2700 back in 2020 and after just a couple of months i got the same split screen. To this day i have been going throgh many mails with my dealer, but sadly i have been treated like a liar. I have always updated to newest firmware... nothing. They now asked me to send the projector back again, so they can test if this is "a real thing".
I have allready been given a new projector and it still has the issue! Now i want my money back but my dealer wants to test first and if its "true" he will do it. But im kinda sure that hes going to turn that thing on for about 10 Mins and then says: found nothing...

my optoma to has this problem on startup. Although it doesnt appear once i press resync till i use it the next time.

I have the same issue. Firmware 1.0.5. I can clear the issue by flicking through the dynamic iris settings. However, a new issue has appeared. There is a centre line that is now distorting the image. I haven't been able to clear it yet.

Hi! I have the same issue. This is the answer whats going on (BenQ Polska info):
"With current 4K DLP technology, it is common practice to use two ICs to process large amounts of 4K signal data for better and stable transmission.
When the two ICs synchronize, the image lags for a few seconds. Then the symptom of "image split" may appear. After the synchronization is completed, the image should return to normal.
It is worth trying to update the software in the projector, if the problem persists, we can take the device for servicing."

That's what you'll always get with faux k dlp projectors, you should have just done the smart thing and stuck to a quality 1080p dlp projector instead, with proper native contrast and fantastic black levels!
