There are two kinds of bassists. First, there are the virtuosos who dazzle crowds with their bass wizardry. Second, there are those who anchor the group with their perfect timekeeping. Most of the time, the first type of bassist does the work of the second type. There may be a day when Ale does the wizardry in public.
