Congressman Ryan, my roots are in your hometown... I was born & grew up in Youngstown. I come from a family of Steelworkers... my grandfather, my father, and my uncle literally FOUGHT for the right to unionize in the late 1930's. My uncle was permanently brain damaged when he was bashed in the head by the police during one of those bloody battles.

My brother followed in their footsteps, becoming a Steelworker and a Union Rep. We all remember Black Monday all too well; it was devastating.

Through the years, my brother has campaigned for Democratic candidates from local to Presidential campaigns, including you. He has driven voters to the polls in every election.

He's 77 years old now, retired from work, but NOT retired from campaigning; he is campaigning for you once again in your bid for the US Senate seat. You are our voice in the House. I hope that you will soon be our voice in the Senate. Ohio needs you. America needs you.

Congressman Ryan, I've been donating to your campaign on a monthly basis, and though I haven't lived in Ohio in over 50 years, in my heart you are my Congressman, and I look forward to you being my Senator.
