The 111 is a classic that goes with so many things depending on the strap. Rubber strap for the beach and a quality leather for in town, can’t go wrong.

My watch journey has taken many turns throughout the years, but even though I'm blessed/cursed with an 8-1/4" wrist circumference and have developed a sweet spot of 42mm watches, I like variety. Mine goes from a JLC Reverso and a Cartier Tank in 18K all the way to a pre-V Panerai and a AP ROO Diver. Heck, I even have a G-Shock Mudmaster and, the mother of all big watches, a Zlatoust 191 ChS which at 60mm without the crown can keep its own against Panerai's Big Egi.

My preference is for smaller, lighter watches too. My love for watches stemmed from my love for classic menswear.

However I love my 45mm Citizen Skyhawk too. Panerais also often look fine on most people.
