The paradox is: when you say your purpose. You question it. You are actually disempowered by the NHS juggernaut. That's why, the end is near for the NHS - it is self-combusting - whistleblowers are countless, paramedics, nurses, doctors and ancillary staff have a purpose - to leave the NHS and question the mistrustful, opaque and unapproachable entity that the NHS is - skilled people being head hunted by advanced employers, a purposeful globally sought after workforce that will go on strike in December 2022 and leave an employer rattled and accountable, warped by it's territorial and vague management hierarchy and neglect of its workers. Patient centeredness lost the carer in the equation. How very tragic. Absent from the real people, the carer became the patient. Forgotten and misused. An NHS which does not liberate and empower, but belittles, shackles and scapegoats its workers, and instils a culture of fear, racism, monitoring and surveillance. How very awkward.
