Such a great tutorial stanely!!
For buy & sell heavy equipment and machinery, but I am very happy with the Sixti Solutions the way they helped to close the deal and save my time and money.

Operators manual can tell you what needs to be service depending on the hours of the machine.

I maybe missed it or maybe that machine doesn't have one but definitely check out the u joints between the motor and hydrostatic pump. It can cost a lot if you have to pay a shop to replace them not to mention if the spider gears are bad

Great video, as an operator looking to get into a landscaping/hardscaping and aggregate company these are great points for those of us who are more familiar with operating than mechanics.

can't even find a wheel skid down here in the South for real lol. I swear and I've been told by every dealer 93% of the loaders down here are tracked. I'm in the market for a skid steer and have been reviewing these videos for days but I think we will go new that way I know what a new machine should run like and later of we need more machinery I can hop in a used machine and hopefully feel and hear the difference

I'm enjoying watching your videos. I have a ton of hours on an 843 from back in my construction days, and now am thinking to get one to do some small side jobs.
Can you do a video on the lift arms....straight lift vs radial lift the pros and cons of each.
Yes I'm Subscribed...

What is the best way to label heavy machine assets like the buckets so that they can be tracked for rentals?

I work on a farm and our bobcat is sitting at close to 9000 hours our worst problem yet is a line blew out. That and our exhaust blew up a few months ago and for some reason only goes 1/3 the speed now but still gets the chores done.

Back file retainer wall, what is the first steps. Gravel, dirt and grass and seed. How deep of a whole do you want to back file before the wall needs come down? Sherman

OOPS, the look on your face when he said "when guys put the bucket on the ground and pick the front wheels up to push snow" was priceless, but I know you wouldn't do that though:) I had to watch a little more b4 I left so I made it to the 6min. Ok now have a great day.

The oil on my skid steers are always clean. But, I spend the extra bucks and run full synthetic oils in all my equipment and trucks.

you really cant go by a seat, seen many with low hours and the seat is shot, simply because it had all its life a 400 LBS  operator in it. seats all busted up, when I go look at a used machine, I take my engine compression gage with me, test all cylinder compression, I also take my hydraulic presser gage and do a presser test on the hydraulic system, if its low I adjust the relief valve to see if the presser comes up, with out doing this, you could end up popping the engine in a short time, witch is costly, same with hydraulic, you have a bad pump, they can run you from 3000.00 to 20, 000, also smell all oils, if they smell burnt, walk away, take a good look at your oils, many people will add sawdust to the oils to stop leaks, stop nose and so on, I seen this a lot, a miss leading thing in this video is, it is not just simple as changing out a pin when you have movement in a joint, the pins are a lot harder heat treated and ground pin stock, so the bushings are going to be far more war out then the pins, and you have to do 1 of 2 things, line bore the bushings and press in new sleeves, or air arc the bushing out and install new bushings, using a long pin, that will go though all bushings, and a good welder that can weld the bushing in with out binding the lining shaft, I have done hundreds of these jobs in my 50 years on just about every type of equipment, be very careful buying used, if the owner will not let you do all these tests, walk away, its very bad news

Ask for oil sample test results, make sure no metals are in the oils.... Engine, pumps and motors. some may have chain cases also. Metals in oil is bad... $$$$ I agree on that 4000 hrs.

hes trying to teach about guys trying to scam you into buying a abused machine and the mechanic is trying to point out warning sighs of a tired machine! i agree with both of them. trust me people will try anything to sell a fuck up machine!
